Online Services Request
Request the intended service or submit your question/suggestion using one of the following forms (requires authentication with Office 365 credentials)
Make use of the reference and research service to obtain specialized support in the search, retrieval, and management of information resources, which are fundamental to research projects regardless of the study cycle.
As a complement to the content available on the UCP Libraries Training Portal, users can request training initiatives on a variety of topics, customized and adapted to the needs of classes or other user groups (regardless of their dimension).
UCP Libraries provide all members of the academic community with a document scanning service, making it easier to access important information resources.
The provision of this service is subject to certain criteria and limits (three scans/month for teachers, researchers, and PhD students; two scans/month for master’s students; one scan/month for undergraduate students). UCP Libraries also reserve the right to assess the feasibility of providing the service depending on the number of pages and/or percentage of digitization requested for a particular work.
Interlibrary loan (requests to entities outside the UCP)
Use the interlibrary loan service to access information resources that do not exist in the UCP Libraries but can be requested from national and international libraries and documentation centers.
This service may carry costs, such as service and postal fees, among others. In these situations, the completion of the request is conditional on the acceptance of a specific budget presented by UCP Libraries.
Circulation of works between UCP Libraries
All members of the academic community can request for a work held in any of the UCP Libraries to be moved to another at their convenience, making it easier to consult it on either of the University campuses.
Interlibrary loan from entities outside the UCP Libraries
This form is intended for all libraries and documentation centers which are not part of the UCP and wish to request any of the information resources available at the UCP Libraries. The feasibility of providing the service and the conditions for carrying it out are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Any member of the academic community can propose the acquisition of bibliography that does not exist in the UCP Libraries, that might be of relevance to their research and contribute to enriching the existing monographic collection. The suggestions are evaluated by the representatives of the teaching units, and the acquisition depends on a favorable decision.
This form allows the academic community to submit lists of curricular unit bibliographies to ensure that information resources are up-to-date and appropriate to the course curricula.
Cultural activities are a central line of action for the UCP Libraries. Aiming for these to be strongly aligned with the interests and motivations of the academic community, cultural and scientific activities can be proposed at any time.
Considering that the UCP Libraries are responsible for implementing, managing, and operating a significant part of the University’s science and publishing platforms, any member of the academic community can use this form to clarify practical or conceptual questions about how to use them.
Through this channel you can submit any general doubts or present suggestions to the UCP Libraries.
